Counselling and Specialist Therapies
We aim to support our pupils and their families in any way that we can. We have facilitated counselling sessions for some pupils where multi agency meetings have recommended that support, allowed children to attend CAMHS for regular therapy and recruited staff who are able to be a good listener when children require it.
This year we have recruited our own Occupational Therapist and continued to purchase SALT and Educational Psychology support from Warwickshire. We have a member of staff who has a specific brief to help children reflect on their own actions and interactions with others. This reflection and review helps our learners improve their social skills and regulate their responses in a variety of circumstances.
