Hayley Brown

Having worked within a mainstream secondary school for nearly 10 years within a student support centre, I supported young people with varied additional needs; SEN, EAL, Autism, ADHD, behavioural difficulties and gained great experience. This led me to want to progress further within the field of Education.

I initially came to Discovery on a work based placement while completing my degree. I thoroughly enjoyed my placement; working within a great staff team, supporting an amazing cohort of young people and sharing the schools ethos and approach towards supporting each child individually, encouraged me to apply for a part time job within Discovery whilst I continued with my studies.

Since graduating, I have completed a secondment year as a Family Footings Facilitator at Quest Academy and have now returned to Discovery in a full time position.
